Dinner for One Life Hack

Tonight I’m dining out, alone, at a chain, the latter of which I rarely do, but I have a bit of leftover gift card. Rather than take the table by the toilet they give women alone, I tried something new that popped into my head today. I said I was waiting for someone and asked for a cozy table by the window. Since the person I described never arrived, I also got sympathy service, which an older woman alone hardly ever gets.

Maybe the hostesses are laughing at my thinking the person I described would actually show up. Little do they know how many times I’ve turned him down … Hee-hee!
